MAA Fall Regional Workshop Series

Workshops will include:
• Overview SEL 9:00am-10:30am (1.5 CTE)
Introduce and align Social Emotional Learning for youth development. This will include hands on activities that can be used in Out-of-School Time (OST) programs
. • Trauma Informed Care 10:45am-12:15pm (1.5 CTE)
Involves understanding, recognizing, and responding to the effects of all types of trauma. Trauma Informed Care (TIC) also emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety for both consumers and providers, and helps survivors rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.
• Family School and Community Relationships 9:00am-10:30 (1.5 CTE)
Learn techniques to create on-going positive interactions and effective partnerships between afterschool professionals and families and leaders who work with and on behalf of children and youth, and families.
A great way to earn hours for PD Training!
