Our presenter is Beth Heidemann. She was a classroom teacher for 25 years during which time she achieved National Board Certification and received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching (PAEMST). During the PAEMST recognition events she was challenged to have an even broader impact so she created Go2Science, an online resource for educators that allows them to bring real-world science research adventures to their students. Her work has been focused on teaching across the curriculum through the lens of science. Since launching Go2Science her work has focused not only on content creation but also working with students and practitioners across the country, usually virtually.
